10+ years organizing 200+ delegations across 20+ Chinese cities.

China hosts over 60% of the world’s smart manufacturing capacity and one of the fastest-growing AI and robotics ecosystems. For overseas executives, investors, and R&D teams, a well-planned China corporate delegation visit is the fastest way to understand how Chinese companies actually operate — not from a trade show brochure, but from the factory floor.

Why Choose Dolphin Union

When we first started arranging corporate study tours in China, most clients assumed factory access was just a matter of showing up. It never is. That’s why we exist.

Exclusive Factory Access

We apply for every factory approval at least 15 working days in advance. We’ve seen too many delegations turned away at the gate because someone forgot the security clearance. We handle all permit applications so you don’t have to think about them.

Full English & Multilingual Support

Professional interpretation throughout every visit, plus English-language briefing documents before you land. We also provide interpretation in Japanese, Korean, German, French, Spanish, and more for delegations that need it.

Tailored Itineraries

No two delegations are the same. We match companies to your industry focus, not our standard route. If you need to meet the technical team rather than the PR department, we arrange that.

Business Matchmaking

We connect you with the right business or technical leads—not just marketing staff. Many of our clients leave with concrete partnership discussions on the table.

Client Track Record

Case 1: Last quarter, we hosted a 12-person US robotics delegation across Shenzhen and Hangzhou. The visit resulted in 3 follow-up partnership discussions and a return visit already scheduled.

Case 2: A 9-person German automotive delegation completed a 5-day multi-city factory tour with 8 company visits—all arranged with 6 weeks lead time. The client later wrote that it was “the most efficient business week we’ve spent in Asia.”

One thing we always advise clients: never assume factory access is guaranteed. Popular companies can book out 2-3 weeks in advance during trade fair season, and factory approvals require 15 working days for security clearance. We handle all of this on your behalf.

A real cautionary example: A client once tried to add a Shenzhen factory visit at the last minute without the 15-day approval process. The delegation ended up only seeing the showroom for 30 minutes. Don’t let that happen to your team.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What industries do you arrange corporate visits for?
A: All major industries—robotics, AI, new energy vehicles, smart manufacturing, e-commerce, fintech, healthcare, consumer retail, aviation, and more. If there’s a company you want to visit, we’ll find a way to make it happen.

Q: How far in advance should we book a delegation?
A: At least 6-8 weeks for a multi-city itinerary. Factory approvals require 15 working days, and popular companies can book out 2-3 weeks in advance during trade fair season. For production floor access, we recommend confirming your itinerary at least 6 weeks ahead.

Q: How much does a corporate delegation tour cost?
A: It depends on group size, number of companies, cities, and whether you need business matchmaking. Our full-service delegation packages typically start from USD 2,500 per person for a 5-day program, excluding international flights. Generally speaking, the larger the group, the lower the per-person cost. We provide a transparent quote within 24 hours.

Q: Can you arrange meetings with technical teams, not just marketing?
A: Yes. For R&D-focused delegations, we specifically arrange closed-door roundtables with engineering leads or product managers—not just the PR department. Tell us your technical focus, and we’ll match the right people.

Q: Do you provide interpretation services?
A: Yes, professional interpretation in English is standard. We also provide Japanese, Korean, German, French, Spanish, and other languages upon request.

Q: What cities do you cover?
A: More than 20 cities across China—Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Suzhou, Chongqing, Wuhan, Xi’an, Qingdao, Xiamen, and others. We plan itineraries based on your industry focus.

Q: Do we need a business visa for the visit?
A: Most business visitors need a standard business visa (M visa). We provide invitation letters from partner companies or industry associations to support your application. Some nationalities may qualify for visa-free transit, but this is usually insufficient for multi-city itineraries.

Q: Can you help with invitation letters for visa applications?
A: Absolutely. We regularly issue invitation letters on behalf of our partner companies and industry associations. This is one of the first things we handle after you confirm your delegation plan.

Q: Can we add or remove companies after booking?
A: Yes, within reason. We understand that priorities change. As long as the target company has availability and you give us enough notice (ideally 2-3 weeks), we can adjust the itinerary. Factory visits added later will still require the 15-working-day approval process.

Q: Is photography allowed inside factories?
A: Generally no. Almost all Chinese factories enforce a strict no-photo policy inside production areas for IP protection. Some exhibition halls allow photography. We brief all clients beforehand to avoid awkward moments.

Q: Do you handle hotels and ground transport?
A: Yes. We arrange hotel bookings, airport transfers, and intercity ground transport as part of the full-service package. You can focus on the visits, not the logistics.

Q: Can you arrange visits for individual business travelers?
A: Yes, though individual visits are usually limited to half-day formats without closed-door roundtables. If you’re traveling alone and want to meet a specific company, we can arrange a single-company visit with a thematic sharing session.
